Make-up Artist
Being a make-up artist at our studio involves preparing clients for their photographic sessions by completing a photogenic makeover and hairstyle.
Our make-up artists apply the secrets of a photogenic make-over using shading and hi-lighting techniques, whilst understanding chiaroscuro and how modern lighting luminesces features, figures and skin tones. We generally find that most make-up artists that join our team enjoy learning new skills as they specifically relate to photographic lighting. Our team is always pleased to share in their knowledge base.
You should already possess outstanding customer service, communication, time management and presentation skills. Hairstyling skills are required in this role but once again where training is required we offer this in house.
Portfolio Stylist
Our stylists have a unique approach to art directing and creating your images with our trademarked ‘Love-byte’™ photo shoots.
Their role is to assist in styling your shoot to hi-light your personal passions. This role involves making recommendations from our portfolios along with co-ordinating clients fashion preferences.
You should already possess outstanding customer service, communication, time management and presentation skills.
Styling sessions are face-to-face appointments, so an understanding and tailoring an individual shoot to a broad range of clientele is a requirement.
Portfolio Photographer
Our studio photographers have that old fashioned ability to expose on film using traditional daylight and flash meters.
We generally find that new photographers to our camp enjoy some tutoring in this craft which is becoming a lost talent. So our photographers within our studio have a natural ability to pre-visualise an image with a genuine understanding of the quality and quantum of light, as opposed to digital imaging whereby many photographers now seem to post visualise.
Our studios are all about photographing people, with our photographers having an eye for art, style and attention to detail.
To be successful as an applicant you must have the ability to learn appropriate technical and aesthetic lighting styles, whilst developing appropriate camera skills for a diverse range of work including studio and on location work. In a photographer we also look for a great personality with a natural ability to gain rapport and deliver a standard of commercial quality images within a strictly limited time frame.

The Portfolio consultant’s role is to provide creative solutions to client’s needs when ordering their creative photo shoot packages.
